How do I get started with a pool project?

What areas does Malibu Pools serve?
Malibu Pools is based in Lubbock, TX, and serves homeowners and businesses throughout West Texas, New Mexico, and surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether we serve your location, contact us and we'll be happy to discuss your project.
How much does a pool cost?
Malibu Minis start at ~$55k, Custom Pools at ~$75k, and Commercial Pools at ~$150k. Final pricing depends on the size and design of your pool, materials, features, site conditions, and overall scope. Contact us for a free quote on your project.
Pool Design & Construction
How long does it take to build a pool?
Malibu Minis typically take 2–3 months, Custom Pools 3–4 months, and Commercial Pools 3–6 months. Timelines can vary with design, site conditions, materials, and weather, and we'll give you a more specific timeline as your project takes shape.
Can I customize my pool design?
Absolutely. Our pools are designed around your space, lifestyle, and vision. From the overall shape and layout to finishes and features, your pool can be tailored to your project.
What are Malibu Minis?
Malibu Minis are our compact custom pool option, designed to make the most of smaller spaces while still creating an area for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying time outdoors.
Do you build commercial pools?
Yes. We design and build commercial pools, typically 140+ linear feet. Commercial projects are covered by a 1-year warranty per the manufacturer. Contact us to discuss your project and receive a quote.
Remodeling & Renovations
Can you remodel my existing pool?
Yes, even if it was built by another company. Depending on your pool and site conditions, we can update its design, appearance, features, and surrounding space. We'll evaluate your pool and discuss what's possible for your project.
Pool Houses & Outdoor Living
Do you build pool houses?
Yes. Along with pools, we design and build pool houses, covered pavilions, and outdoor living spaces. Planning them together with your pool creates one cohesive space that's comfortable and enjoyable year-round. Contact us to discuss the scope of your project.
Financing
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing is available through Lyon Financial. Once our team provides your initial quote, you can use it to pursue financing through Lyon Financial. Contact us to get started on your quote.
